How to play charades online with teams?

The popular paper slip party game is now online and free - no pen and paper needed. Create a private room in seconds, each player adds secret words, and then you take turns guessing them across 3 rounds.

Tip: For the best game, hop on a separate voice or video call, and turn your camera on for the Charades round.

Round 1: Description (max 3 words)

You can use a maximum of 3 words as a clue for each slip. No gestures and no translations allowed.

Round 2: Single Word

Memory comes into play - you are allowed to say only one word as a clue for each slip. Choose it wisely.

Round 3: Charades (no words)

Total silence! Use only gestures and body language to act out the word in front of the camera.

Note: the host can skip the Charades round and end the game directly.

How many players can join?

To start: 4 to 16 players, split across 2 to 4 teams, with at least 2 connected players per participating team.

Do we need a video call?

For voice mode, yes - hop on any call (Discord, Zoom, Meet). Chat-only mode needs no call at all.

How long does a game take?

Usually 20-40 minutes with the default settings - shorter if you lower the slips per player or the turn timer.
