v3.0.0
Gameplay and teams
- For each new game or rematch, we randomly choose the starting team and the first presenter from each team. You then take turns presenting, keeping the order from one round to the next.
- Beside each player's name at the table, you can see how many slips they've guessed this turn. The fire around their avatar grows as they guess more, with no extra points.
- We've clarified in the guide and round introductions that word limits apply to clues. Even in the one-word round, your team can try more than one answer until time runs out.
The room and game table
- From the homepage to game preparation, pauses and new rounds, the game has a new look, with illustrations, warm colours and slips that look like paper. The guide and other pages share the same design.
- In the lobby, your team choice and slips are grouped together, with settings in a separate fold-out section. Teams have coloured ribbons, and a tick marks your choice.
- Play around an illustrated table, with a seat and avatar for each player, a highlighted presenter and a bowl that empties as you guess. Each correct guess sends a slip flying from the bowl to the team's score.
Phones and Chat
- On a phone, the upright view puts your role, the players and controls first, with the slip within reach when you're presenting. Turn your phone sideways to see the illustrated table.
- In Chat mode, the time left and guidance for your role appear just above the messages. In Voice + Chat, open the conversation with the Chat button.
- You can read older messages without being moved to the latest one. The "New messages" button brings you back to the current conversation.
- You can turn off in-game animations if you prefer less movement on screen.
Results
- The rankings have a new layout, with score bars in each team's colour. Players or teams with equal scores share the same place.
- The result image you can save or share with friends has a new look too. If several players tie for the most slips guessed, they appear together in the image.
